Women’s Experiences in the Recruitment Process - Survey Report Sept 2017
Mark.Freed / 16 Sep 2017
In a world where financial institutions are signing the Women in Finance Charter and those same institutions are making commitments such as a 50/50 male/female workforce by 2020, can you believe that almost a third of women applying for positions in financial services feel disadvantaged because of their gender?
We asked our members about their experiences of the interview process, the hiring manager and questions at interview. Additionally, they were asked about whether their impression of the firm as a place for women to work had been changed positively or negatively, and how they felt about the experience as a whole.
If you are in recruitment, are a hiring manager or just care about improving gender diversity in financial services the report highlights the progress that has been made and what remains to be done.
