City Gateway - a charity that exists to give everyone the equal chance to change the future.

About City Gateway

Based in Tower Hamlets, City Gateway is a charity that supports young people from some of London's most disadvantaged communities to reach their full potential. The organization focuses on individuals aged 16 to 24 who are currently not in education, employment and training (NEET) and aims to equip them with the skills, qualifications, and mindset required to achieve sustainable employment, such as apprenticeships and other job opportunities. In 2021-22, City Gateway helped 76% of its young people to achieve positive and sustainable EET outcomes, surpassing the sector benchmark of 24%.

They campaign for young women’s equality in the workplace, explore the issues that young women face such as the income gap and discrimination and, through our research, examine the challenges young women face.
