A former banking employee wins payout for gender discrimination by ex employers

Stacey Macken, former BNP Paribas employer, has won a record breaking £2mn in a groundbreaking case after judges rule discrimination based upon Macken's gender.

Macken had been with the organisation since 2013, in the prime brokerage division. She later become aware that she was paid significantly less than her male colleagues in equivalent roles, with the gap widening to 85% in recent years. She was also subject to derogatory comments actions from colleagues during her time at the bank, states the Financial Times interview.
