With Christmas upon us and 2017 drawing to a close, it’s a great time to look back and also, an exciting time to look forward. I’m immensely proud of the work that we, our members and clients have achieved this year.
We have made good progress on:
√ our aims to ensure that female representation is growing,
√ our aims that financial institutions develop strategies that enable them to collect the gender dividend.
We have started many new client relationships this year and welcome you all. We are delighted to have helped so many of you recruit members of our community and are delighted that you are collecting the gender dividend as a result. We are looking forward to helping our tier one partners, those with a real commitment to collecting the gender divided, to implement and improve gender recruitment practices and thus continue to increase the pace towards our joint ambitions of gender parity.
We helped many members of our community to find and /or secure new and satisfying roles. We have supported many excellent women via our membership and coaching programmes, and our business teams in key areas have flourished. It is hugely satisfying to enable women to connect with likeminded peers and we have proven that a professional, focussed network is underestimated in terms of what it can achieve.
We experienced high energy at the events held this last quarter on Careers in Risk, Agile Working on a Technology Transformational project, The Challenges of the Senior Managers’ Regime and the Front Office team’s inaugural meet-up where we had an encouraging discussion on how women are taking the initiative to help their own careers and yet, willing to support everyone else too. I would personally like to thank everyone who has supported our membership, particularly those who have hosted, lead and contributed to our events.
I look forward to continuing our aims in the coming year and we have some great events planned. If you have already registered, please forward onto your colleagues, network and friends.

I would like to leave you with a thought which I have experienced many times this year: It is a powerful reward to see the consequences of supporting someone else in their aspirations!
