The 2020 Gender Pay Gap Reports for Corporate and Investment Banks show that women in the sector now earn 71p for every £1 earnt by men, a rise of just 3p in 3years. In the same period, bonus payments have risen from 44p to 50p in the £1 earnt by men. Only 7% of CIB’s are on track to have an equal number of women and men in top quartile earning roles by 2039, whilst 24% have made no progress or gone backwards in the three years.
