Career Conversations Update

The Career Conversations group coaching calls are proving to be popular and helpful.  The series has focussed on the importance of understanding your real value and strengths, something we tend to down play, and feel uncomfortable articulating them.  Identifying key transferable skills and being able to demonstrate your worth puts you in a stronger position to manage your career.  Whether you are updating your CV, preparing for interviews, or positioning yourself in the workplace for promotion or projects.

"Thanks Rhian, the conversation has been very enlightening. Taking part in the career conversations series has inspired me to effectively rethink my career plan." (Cristina Eirea – E2W Member)

The E2W careers library  on our members platform is a resource full of advice to help you write personal profiles, functional CV’s, identify your strengths and weaknesses through the personal SWOT analysis.

‘’I found the E2W team’s career support invaluable when redesigning my CV – they helped me update to a more modern approach and gave practical, one-to one advice on what I should include.  Not only did this improve my CV hugely, it also gave me confidence as they made me sit down and think about my skill set and what I could give to future employers.’’ (Jane Anne Negi, E2W - Member)

The last two sessions in this series will cover Changing career direction and Returning to Work.  If you are interested in finding out more, register for these calls on the Event page.
