Who am I?
I built my career in Investment Banking, primarily working within Commodities operations, responsible for managing the back office precious metal logistics desk which included all post trade activity. This involved OTC and physical metal settlements, market clearing, reconciliations and all aspects of shipping logistics. I thrived in a fast paced, busy environment and met tight market deadlines. To enable me to meet new priorities, I searched for options which would provide me with time flexibility and enable me to continue my Financial Services career. I was then introduced to E2W. My focus now is to use my skills, knowledge and experience to support and grow our pool of talented women and create an innovative and collaborative community.
Why E2W?
The model that E2W promotes really speaks to the issues faced when providing women with a different way of working. The understanding of the need to provide different working solutions and their passion to champion women in Financial Services was very compelling. I am now helping likeminded women in many ways to either continue careers, return to the City, further their career or simply get together and discuss market issues. Our unique membership recognizes the contribution women make to the economy and the challenges faced and I am dedicated to growing this community to ensure we can continue to make the difference.
