I am really looking forward to presenting at the EWPN – “Making Diversity Matter in Fintech” in Amsterdam next month. Doubly excited as I am honoured to be nominated for an award for being a Positive Trouble Maker.
My first role in Fintech was selling telex machines to Financial Institutions. It is amazing how quickly fintech has taken us forward since those days when the simple act of sending a payment instruction required a team of people, processes and technology and took hours or days to complete. Today technology sends the same instruction instantly with no human intervention. Is it time that our industry leaders and innovators focussed their immense talents on ensuring that we accelerate progress towards equality, diversity and inclusiveness in Financial Services. Now is the time.
