Where having a clear vision for the future can mess us up
Do you ever feel so invested in your future vision, that you disconnect from the present?
I’ve been feeling it this week.
Whilst dreaming about the future is important and a great skill to have, it’s possible to get lost in the future.
I haven’t actually had a big set back or problem this week. I’ve had some great and uplifting conversations with clients who are making a real difference with the way they’re choosing to lead. But like you, I still have moments of flat.
When you know what you want, and aren’t there yet, it can feel:
- frustrating - why isn’t that future here now?
- debilitating - is this even possible for me?
- disconnecting - why isn’t my current reality feeling congruent with that future?
