A recurring theme in our conversations is emerging - women are reluctant to put themselves forward. How are you enriching your career in your organisation? Do you actively pursue development/learning opportunities, or are you excluded from the invitation? Are you asking to be included?
Did you know women tend to be more cautious about changing roles and looking for new challenges, waiting for a role to match skills and abilities? Men will put themselves forward for new opportunities, even if they know their skills are only a 50% match.
