Friends of E2W Paddle Cabin, Presents…The Paddle Life

Kingdom, Grove Rd, Penshurst, Tonbridge TN11 8DU

Our friends at Paddle Cabin are hosting a fun and motivational evening that we wanted to share with the E2W community. If you are local to Kent, or are keen on experiencing paddleboarding and hearing inspiring talks from their speakers, please secure your spot by registering via EventBrite: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/paddle-cabin-presents-the-paddle-life-tickets-422160221587

Please register with them directly, and contact Jo if you have any questions.

Hosted at our fave treehouse hidden in the woods, Paddle Cabin Presents is a motivational evening like no other in Kent. We are so excited to present extreme adventurers, Jordan Wylie and Michelle Ellison, who will share their paddleboarding stories like no other. You will also hear from our hosts, Hayley and Jo, who will share their own journey to bring you the paddle life in Kent. The perfect evening for anyone with a sense of adventure or a love of the water, you will leave feeling inspired for your own adventures, however big or small.

Former soldier Jordan Wylie is a Sunday Times bestselling author, award winning adventurer and one of the stars of Channel 4’s Hunted and Celebrity Hunted. Jordan took on his own paddling adventure in 2020 with his world record attempt to complete a full circumnavigation of Great Britain on a Standup Paddleboard (SUP) and author to the 'Power of the Paddle'. Jordan’s passion is trying to inspire young people and he is currently the United Kingdom’s national ambassador for the Army Cadet Force.

Kiwi born, Michelle Ellison is an adventurer, author, podcast club host, film producer and started her new Kula Cloth business during covid. Michelle’s mission is to empower people to make shit happen, believing in the power of connection and getting out of your comfort zone. This led her to completing many long distance challenges, on a paddle board, bike and foot, such as paddling the width of the UK. Michelle will take us back to how she started adventuring in her mid 30s, to stand up paddle board the River Thames from source to sea for citizen science.

Their talks will be followed by an open forum so you can ask all your burning questions to our awesome guests. Plus you have your chance to win some awesome prizes in our raffle, with all proceeds going to our charity partners, Breast Cancer Now and West Kent Mind. Your ticket includes a burger/vegan burger and fries and a welcome drink on arrival (alcoholic or soft).
