For this week’s E2 Inspired series we welcome our special guest, Anna Allerton.
Anna Allerton is an Executive Coach who specialises in supporting women maintain careers during Perimenopause and Menopause. She works with individuals and organisations looking to deepen their awareness in order to take positive action to support and retain female talent during this time. Anna spent 17 years as a Journalist TV Producer at Sky Sports and is a former Head of Internal Comms for Sky. She is a Non-Executive Director for Hockey and works with Jess Ennis-Hill and her team of perimenopause experts on the Jennis app.
About the session:
Perimenopause & Menopause is deeply impacting the workplace with 1 million women already changing or quitting their jobs. 1 in 10 will leave careers and 1 in 4 are reducing hours. Anna will explain how perimenopause impacted her career as a journalist and will share insights about what can be done to improve conversations about this in the workplace. She will explore what lessons from professional sport can be applied here as part of her marginal gains model. There will be tips and resources to begin raising awareness and education. With women over the age of 50 the fastest growing section of the UK workforce - it will be leaders and businesses that strategise for this who will see positive impacts on their retention, performance and productivity.
