Martin will share with us challenges he faced up to and improvements he made in all areas of diversity:
- Increasing diversity from within the force – making the force look like the community they serve
- Changing the way we Police to ensure that it is sensitive and representative
Martin has extensive knowledge of policing from his career in the Police including as Chief Constable of Wiltshire Police (2004 – 2007) and Sussex Police (2007 – 2014) where he led considerable improvements in the performance of each force.
