Gary Ford
Founder of Moonshot Consultancy Ltd

An independent consultant working across the IT sector and the wider management environment, where he has a particular interest in the intersection between technology and diversity and inclusion.  Most recently, Gary was a Managing Director within Global Technology at JPMorgan Chase (JPM), a large US financial services organisation with over 270,000 employees.

In 2016, he co-founded JPMorgan’s male allies programme for Women in Technology.  The focus of the initiative was to encourage more men to be engaged in discussions on gender equality and partner with female colleagues to understand why so few women choose to work within technology.  Capturing feedback from women on their experience, the small team built a powerful and engaging workshop that allowed men to explore their own attitudes towards women and wider diversity and inclusion topics.

More recently, he was nominated alongside his Allies co-founder, for the Everywoman Tech Male Agent of Change Award.  He has been panellist on a number of Diversity and Inclusion events, including a slot at the Women of the World (WOW) London festival at the Royal Festival Hall.  He is writing a book on his experiences of talking to men about gender diversity.

Mark Freed
CEO E2W

Mark co-founded E2W 20 years ago to address a critical issue in the financial services sector and society – equality. I still run this business that dedicates itself to supporting the financial services careers of women and helping Banks collect the gender dividend.

This year E2W will make a real difference to the careers and lives of over 800 women. Through the support we give them via our membership programme and by partnering with Financial Institutions who want to recruit, retain and help them flourish.

I am doing this because I’m passionate about the economic and social benefits of gender equality. More men need to get on board with the agenda.
