While my career may not have followed the most direct path so far, I do believe there is a thread that runs through it. I’ve always been interested in helping people. This led to me study Education at university, followed by three years working in a primary school. While I loved working with the children, I also came to realise that my true interest was supporting adults, so I made the shift to recruitment.
Now, I’m in a role where I spend all my time supporting people, while working for a company with a mission to make a real difference. We’re here to help women get the career success in financial services that their talents and ambition deserve. I run E2W’s community, so as well as being the first point of contact for members, I’m in charge of driving growth and creating an environment where we can all help each other to achieve more.
I am really excited to have been given the opportunity to drive and grow our membership in my new role as Engagement Manager. The last few years have been great but with momentum building the next few years are going be even more exciting! It is set to be a great time to be a Women in Finance.
